Below is a brief list and description of our benefits available to our eligible employees:
Medical and Prescription Insurance
ACERTUS provides associates with a cost-sharing medical and prescription plan through Aetna PPO.
ACERTUS offers employee paid dental insurance through Met Life.
ACERTUS offers employee paid vision insurance through Eye Med.
PTO / Sick Policy
Employees will accrue 10 days of paid time off (PTO) and 6 days of paid sick leave (PSL). These days are accrued on a bi-weekly basis. Accrual rates increase on a vesting schedule.
ACERTUS recognizes 7 holidays, including either the day before or after Thanksgiving which rotates yearly.
401k Plan & Match
Employees may contribute 1% – 100% of gross salary on a pre-tax basis up to the IRS annual maximum. ACERTUS will match employee contributions of up to 5%. The first 3% contribution will be matched at 100% and the next 2% will be matched at 50%.
Employee contributions are 100% vested and employees can participate after 1 year of employment.
ACERTUS employees may receive tuition reimbursement of up to $3,600 per calendar year.
An annual bonus is discretionary based on company service line performance.
Referral bonuses are paid out to an employee who refers candidates that are hired by ACERTUS. Administrative employee hires result in a $500 bonus after 90 days of employment. Local driver hires result in a $50 bonus upon hire, and another $100 bonus after 90 days of employment. The applicant must list your name as a referral on the application.
Paid Maternity / Paternity Leave
ACERTUS offers paid leave associated with the birth/adoption/placement of a child depending on length of service. Employees with less than one year of service will receive 40% of their salary for 4 weeks. Employees with over one year of service will receive 60% of their salary for 4 weeks.
Basic and Voluntary Life Insurance
Basic: ACERTUS offers company paid life insurance of 1x the employee’s annual salary up to a maximum of $250,000.
Voluntary: Employee paid life insurance with a guaranteed issue of $250,000.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment
ACERTUS will pay 100% of the basic life benefit.
Long & Short Term Disability
ACERTUS offers both long and short term disability. Long term disability is paid by ACERTUS at 60% of income following a 180-day elimination period. Employees can pay for short term disability of which is 60% of income following a 7-day elimination period.
ACERTUS offers an employee paid disability insurance that is designed to help you cover deductible gaps and daily living expenses with a cash benefit for unexpected injuries.
Section 125 Flexible Spending
ACERTUS offers a flexible spending account for employees to participate in, including a Health Care Reimbursement Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending and Healthcare Flexible Spending.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
ACERTUS offers a 24/7 confidential service that provides assessment, counseling, resources and referrals for a variety of issues, including child and elder care.
In Touch Hotline
ACERTUS offers a confidential reporting hotline called “In Touch Hotline.”
Voluntary Pet Insurance
ACERTUS believes our pets are family too. We offer group rates on pet health insurance that includes medical problems and conditions related to accidents and illnesses.
