MICHAEL DELUCA

Chief Executive Officer

Michael DeLuca was appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer of ACERTUS in 2025, after serving as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. With more than two decades of diverse financial and operational leadership experience, Michael brings both strategic insight and a deep understanding of the business to his role as CEO. 
He began his career in public accounting before progressing through senior corporate finance roles across multiple industries. Prior to ACERTUS, he served as CFO for YA Group and Integrated Supply Network, where he led strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and acquisition-related efforts. 

Michael holds a degree from Boston University, an MBA from Florida State University, and is a Certified Public Accountant. Known for his disciplined approach and collaborative leadership style, he is a results-driven executive passionate about building strong teams, driving growth, and leading ACERTUS into its next chapter of innovation and success.

ALISHA BUELT

Chief Operating Officer

Alisha Buelt joined ACERTUS in 2011 as a car haul dispatcher. Throughout her tenure with the organization, she has held numerous positions across each service line with a core focus on operations and process efficiency. Her focused leadership, experience and knowledge well positions her to focus on global strategy, ensuring that as the organization scales for growth, our services are bridged effectively so we can offer fully-encompassing customer solutions.

BLAIR KOCH

Chief Digital Officer

Blair Koch was named Chief Digital Officer in November 2020. Blair is a strategic technology executive with a commitment to driving digital transformation and automotive-logistics innovation at ACERTUS. Prior to joining the ACERTUS team, he served in multiple leadership roles at companies like Datalex, Inc., JetBlue Airways, United Airlines, BNSF Railway and The Feld Group. Blair has a track record of successfully leading teams and building technology solutions to increase speed to market, profitability and innovation. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from North Dakota State University, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from Texas Christian University.

KEVIN OAKLEAF

Chief Legal Officer & Secretary

As Chief Legal Officer and Secretary, Kevin leads the legal team and leverages his vast experience in the transportation industry across all legal matters, including contract management, compliance, insurance, intellectual property, acquisitions, corporate governance, and commercial matters. Prior to joining ACERTUS in 2024, Kevin held senior legal responsibilities with a publicly traded transportation company over a 15 year tenure. He received his juris doctorate degree from the University of Kansas School of Law where he also obtained bachelor’s degrees in business and economics.  

LINDSEY CREECH

Senior Vice President, Marketing & Communication

As ACERTUS’ Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Lindsey is responsible for creating awareness, driving demand and loyalty across all communications channels and touchpoints. Lindsey brings nearly 15 years of communications and marketing experience to the position.

Throughout her tenure with the organization, Lindsey has expanded ACERTUS brand presence, elevated and established brand standards, ramped content and digital marketing efforts and built a rounded team to support her with these initiatives.

Previously, Lindsey served as the Vice President of Client Success for a content marketing SaaS and Services agency that supported MetroGistics, one of the founding companies of ACERTUS. Through that experience she became intimately involved with the brand and was able to experience the company’s growth firsthand. Prior to that role, Lindsey worked for Build-A-Bear Workshop where she was responsible for brand communications.

Lindsey earned her BA in English from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

JAMIE KOEPKE

Senior Vice President,
People & Culture

As ACERTUS’ Senior Vice President of People and Culture, Jamie is responsible for driving initiatives to enhance the partner experience and to develop and retain a high performing and diverse workforce to maximize individual and organizational potential. Jamie brings 14 years of human resources experience to this position.

In her previous role as People Services Business Partner, Jamie led initiatives in support of our ACERTUS partner experience. Through her focused leadership and breadth of knowledge in the people space, Jamie is well positioned to elevate the people function at ACERTUS by building and aligning the People & Culture department to ACERTUS’ strategic vision.

Jamie holds both a B.S. in Accounting and an MBA from Maryville University.

SCOTT VAN HOYE

Senior Vice President,
Global Controller

As Senior Vice President, Global Controller of ACERTUS, Scott Van Hoye serves as a key leader of the Finance & Accounting Team. He partners closely with the CFO and Executive team to set the vision, determine direction, and implement strategy. Scott supports the organization by connecting financial results with operational performance to drive profitable growth.

Before joining ACERTUS in 2019, Scott held various leadership positions with rental, distribution, and construction companies where he helped create visibility into business performance to support informed decision making. Scott began his career as a CPA working at Deloitte and RubinBrown.

Scott is a graduate of Missouri State University, Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

JACK HOLMES

Executive Chairman

Jack Holmes career in transportation began in 1979 when he joined UPS as a package handler. From there, he continued to excel in the company and eventually served as President and Chief Operating Officer of numerous UPS locations before leading their largest-ever domestic acquisition, Overnite and Motor Cargo,  rebranded as UPS Freight. Beginning in 2006, he served as President and CEO of UPS Freight, one of the largest LTL carriers in the U.S. and a leading provider in truckload services, until his retirement in 2016. Jack was appointed by US Secretary of Transportation, Ray LaHood, as Co-Chairman of the National Freight Advisory Council in Washington, DC. He was subsequently reappointed by Secretary of Transportation, Anthony Foxx. Jack was previously the Chairman of 10-4 Systems which went through a successful sale to Trimble Technologies in 2017. Jack is currently the Executive Chairman of Emerge and serves on the Board of Directors for publicly-traded company, Werner Enterprises and has previously served on boards for Sharps Compliance, as well as Redwood Logistics and LaserShip. Jack is excited to join the team at ACERTUS as Executive Chairman of the Board.

JEN COLE

Member of the Board

Jen Cole joined the ACERTUS Board of Directors in April 2021, bringing over two decades of executive leadership in the automotive technology and data sector. She currently serves as Executive Vice President of OEM & Strategic Partnerships at CDK, the leading automotive software provider, where she is focused on delivering connected, data-driven experiences across the automotive ecosystem. A proven strategic leader, Jen has a track record of scaling tech-enabled services and leading go-to-market teams across top-tier companies like ADP, CDK, Cobalt, Sincro, and Appen. She holds a BA from Colgate University and an MA from the University of California, Berkeley.

STEPHEN FRASER

Member of the Board

Stephen has over 40 years of experience founding, building, fixing, leading, and governing both private, private equity backed, and public companies, in services, niche logistics, equipment rental, and environmental industries. He led the turn-around as CEO of NYSE-traded, Horizon Lines (then the largest Jones Act container shipping company serving Puerto Rico, Alaska and Hawaii) completing that assignment in 2012.

Previously, he led the revitalization of GENCO’s reverse logistics businesses and spent nearly a decade in private equity leading two company platforms in the logistics and transportation space. Prior to his tenure in private equity, Stephen built a third-party bulk chemical logistics business for GATX Corporation, having previously sold his environmental transportation business to GATX Capital. Previously, he spent 10 years working for international shipping container and associated pooled asset leasing giant, GE Seacontainers in both the U.S. and UK.

For the last decade, Stephen has worked with a handful of private equity firms to help identify and acquire services, transportation and logistics businesses, and serve on their boards. He has a degree in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University.
