Leadership Team

BILL BILLITER

As the CEO of ACERTUS, William (Bill) leads the company’s commitment to providing the best possible experience to clients, vendors, carriers, and most importantly, our valued drivers and employees.  Leveraging his significant experience in operations, strategic planning and business development, he is focused on helping our diverse team of professionals achieve new levels of success.

Bill’s career in the vehicle transportation began more than 20 years ago as a local driver for a large automotive wholesale operation in the Midwest. This unique opportunity to learn the business from the ground up has paid dividends throughout his career.

After operating as the General Manager of an asset medium automotive logistics provider, he noticed a distinct unmet need for more useful technology in this space. This experience ultimately led him to establish MetroGistics to focus on developing a smarter platform for vehicle logistics, one that would solve problems on both sides of the carhaul logistics equation (carriers and customers).

Bill attended the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and in 2012 was named to the St. Louis Business Journal`s prestigious 40 Under 40 class.
