IS MY CAR FULLY INSURED
DURING TRANSPORT?
TYPES OF INSURANCE COVERAGE
Shipping cars is both safe and convenient. ACERTUS holds a 99.5% damage-free delivery rate as all of our highly-qualified carriers and drivers are carefully vetted.
In addition to our network safety protocol, we offer comprehensive liability insurance as well as contingent cargo-insurance coverage. Our team deals directly with the insurance company on your behalf. All transports are covered, so you are left with a lower risk of claims and overall peace of mind.
However, there are certain types of damage that ACERTUS’ insurance does not include:
Force Majeure: Our drivers do their best to stay clear of any weather conditions that could potentially cause damage to your vehicle, but weather can be unpredictable. Insurance companies call weather damage “Force Majeure” or an act of God. Weather and other acts of God are not covered by our insurance. For example, if there is hail damage this will not be covered by ACERTUS. You will have to submit the damage to your own insurance company.
Comprehensive Insurance: Comprehensive insurance coverage helps cover the cost of damages to your vehicle when you are involved in an accident that’s not caused by a collision. This includes losses such as theft, vandalism, hail, and hitting an animal. This type of insurance is the responsibility of the vehicle owner and is not provided by ACERTUS.
